Detailed Itinerary – Horse Riding Class Mongolia

Day 1Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.

You will stay at the Holiday Inn Ulaanbaatar, a modern 4-star hotel ideally located near the city center. The hotel offers spacious rooms with international-standard comfort, free Wi-Fi, fitness facilities, and excellent dining options—perfect for relaxing after your flight.

After check-in, our team will meet you in the hotel lobby to ensure everything is in place for your upcoming adventure. We will also answer any questions you may have and provide a short briefing about the journey ahead. The rest of the evening is at leisure to rest and prepare for the exciting experiences awaiting you the next morning.

Day 2Tsonjin Boldog & Horse Riding in Terelj Valley

Our driver and Japanese-speaking guide will pick you up from the Holiday Inn Ulaanbaatar at8:00 AM. We will drive to Tsonjin Boldog, the site of the world’s largest equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan. Inside the monument, you can explore a small museum dedicated to Mongolian history and culture, and climb to the top of the statue for panoramic views—an unforgettable photo opportunity.

Lunch will be served before we continue our journey into Terelj National Park. This afternoon, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you will participate in an extended horse riding class in the open valley. Under the guidance of your professional instructor, you will further develop your riding skills while experiencing the wide-open landscapes of Terelj on horseback.

Dinner will be enjoyed at a resort in Terelj, after which you will have free time to relax and soak in the peaceful natural surroundings.

Day 3Aryabal Meditation Temple, Horse Trekking & Nomadic Culture

We start the day at 8:00 AM with a hike up to the Aryabal Meditation Temple, a serene Buddhist temple set on a hillside overlooking Terelj National Park. The panoramic view from the top is truly breathtaking and offers a peaceful start to the day.

From there, you will set out on a horse trekking journey through the valley, guided by your trainer. The ride will take you to a local nomadic family, where you will experience authentic Mongolian hospitality and learn about their traditional way of life. You will also enjoy lunch together with the family, making this an unforgettable cultural exchange. This trekking not only immerses you in nature but also helps you further develop and practice your riding skills in real terrain.

In the afternoon, we trek back to the resort, where dinner will be served. Before the day concludes, we will also visit the iconic Turtle Rock, one of Terelj’s most famous natural landmarks, and enjoy its unique rock formations.

Day 4Ulaanbaatar City Tour & Cultural Evening

We will depart Terelj in the morning and drive back to Ulaanbaatar. The journey takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, we begin the day with a visit to

Sukhbaatar Square, the central plaza of Ulaanbaatar, surrounded by government buildings, museums, and a statue of the great revolutionary leader Damdin Sukhbaatar.

The Chinggis Khaan Museum, Mongolia’s largest and most modern cultural museum. Here you will explore rich exhibits showcasing the legacy of the Great Khaan, Mongolian empires, and the nation’s vast history.
Zaisan Hill, a memorial complex offering sweeping views of the city, especially beautiful at sunset or under the evening lights.
Department store, where you can find high-quality Mongolian cashmere, souvenirs, handicrafts, and other unique products to take home as memories of your journey.

In the evening, dinner will be served at an authentic Mongolian restaurant, where you will also experience the deep and powerful sounds of traditional throat singing (Khoomii)—a perfect cultural finale to your adventure in Mongolia.

Day 5Departure from Ulaanbaatar

Your adventure in Mongolia comes to a close today. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel 4 hours before your departure time to ensure a smooth and timely check-in.
