Itinerary

Day 1Ulaanbaatar City Tour

Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, begin exploring Ulaanbaatar’s key highlights, including Sukhbaatar Square, the National History Museum, and Gandan Monastery, Mongolia’s most important Buddhist center. Later, visit Zaisan Hill Memorial for panoramic winter views of the city, followed by the Winter Palace of Bogd Khan.

Day 2Terelj National Park

Depart for Terelj National Park, a stunning winter landscape of granite formations, frozen rivers, and snow-covered forests. Visit Turtle Rock and enjoy a gentle winter walk through the park. In the afternoon, experience daily nomadic winter life, including ger heating traditions, winter livestock care, and traditional tea preparation.

Day 3Khan Khentii Mountains

Day 4Khan Khentii Mountains

Spend a full day exploring the quiet beauty of the region. Optional activities include winter hiking, photography, visiting sacred ovoos (stone cairns), or simply enjoying the silence of the Mongolian winter landscape. Evenings are spent around the stove with traditional food and storytelling.

Day 5Tsonjinboldog

Drive toward Tsonjinboldog, stopping for scenic winter views along the way. Visit the iconic Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, dramatically set against the snowy steppe. Learn about Mongolia’s imperial history and enjoy lunch at a nearby tourist camp.

Day 6Return to Ulaanbaatar

Visit Ariyapala Temple, nestled high in the mountains, followed by free time in Ulaanbaatar for souvenir shopping, cashmere boutiques, or rest.

Day 7Departure Day – Transfer to the Airport
