Arrive in Mongolia’s capital. Visit Gandan Monastery, Sukhbaatar Square, and the National Museum to explore Mongolian history and Buddhism. Rest and prepare for your adventure.

Enter the Altai Mountains and explore Shiveet Khairkhan, a sacred mountain with a vast collection of rock carvings. Visit a local Kazakh family and prepare for the trek.

Begin your horse trek to the Altai Tavan Bogd peaks (4,100–4,374m). Ride horses through the highlands, stopping at the President Ovoo, a revered spiritual site.

Travel to Tsagaan Gol (White River), where glacial silt creates its milky hue. Camp near nomads and enjoy candid conversations under the stars.

Drive back to Ulgii, stopping for landscape and lifestyle photography. Witness nomads transitioning to their winter homes.

Experience the first day of the Golden Eagle Festival. See nomads assemble gers, migrate with livestock, and demonstrate cultural traditions passed down for generations.

Day two features eagle hunting competitions, including eagle descents, fox-skin chases, coin grabbing on horseback, and traditional games. Festival winners are announced. Drive to Khovd in the evening.

Fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Free time for shopping (cashmere, handicrafts). Enjoy a farewell dinner with your group.
