Authentic Nomadic Experience

Begin with a warm welcome and drive to Karakorum (Khar Khorin), the 13th-century capital of the Mongol Empire. Explore the UNESCO-listed Erdene Zuu Monastery, a historic complex renowned for its walls of 108 stupas and enduring Buddhist heritage.

Stay alongside local herders in a traditional ger camp set in a quiet, remote valley (hot showers available on the premises). Wake to steppe tranquility and share a fresh dairy breakfast, then take part in hands-on nomad life—herding on horseback, milking animals, making traditional dairy, and learning ger-building basics. A guided horseback trek adds gentle adventure amid sweeping landscapes.

Evenings bring simple campfire camaraderie—stories, songs, and hearty local cuisine beneath a sky filled with stars. Conclude with time at the Elsen Tasarhai (“Little Gobi”) dunes—ideal for photos and an optional Bactrian camel ride—before returning to Ulaanbaatar.
