Q: How do I book a tour?
A: To book, simply browse our available tours on the website and choose the one that interests you. Next, select your preferred date, package, and number of people, then click the “Proceed Booking” button and complete the online registration form. You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is finalized.

Q: Where will the booking confirmation email be sent from?
A: Your booking confirmation email will be sent from contact@nomadtrail.net. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your Spam or Junk folder, as it may occasionally be filtered there.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) as well as PayPal. If you need an alternative payment method, please contact our customer support team.

Q: Do I need to pay in full when booking a tour?
A: To confirm your booking, we require full payment at the time of reservation. This helps us secure all arrangements in advance and provide you with a smooth and worry-free travel experience.

Q: Are flights included in the tour price?
A: Unless stated otherwise, flights are not included. You will need to arrange your own airfare to the tour’s starting location. If you need assistance, we can provide recommendations or connect you with our trusted flight partners.

A: Yes! We offer special discounts for groups of 50% or more. If you’re traveling with a large party, please reach out to our customer service team for a customized quote.

Q: Can I customize my itinerary?
A: Absolutely. We offer both pre-planned group tours and personalized, private trips. If you have specific activities, destinations, or travel dates in mind, contact us, and we’ll work with you to create a custom itinerary.

Q: Will I have free time during the tour?
A: Most tours include some flexible time in the schedule so you can explore independently or relax. Review the daily itinerary for approximate free-time slots.

Q: What if I don’t want to participate in certain activities?
A: Participation in most scheduled activities is optional. If you prefer to skip an activity, just let your tour guide know in advance.


4. Accommodation & Transportation

Q: What types of accommodations are provided?
A: We partner with handpicked countryside lodges, ger camps that meet our standards for cleanliness, comfort, and service. Some tours may offer upgraded or luxury ger camps and lodging for an additional cost; check the tour details for more info.

Q: How will we travel between locations?
A: Transportation depends on your chosen tour and destination. For standard tours, we use comfortable, air-conditioned mini-buses or 4×4 vehicles. For our exclusive packages, you’ll enjoy premium upgrades such as private SUVs (including Toyota Land Cruiser 200/300 series). In some specific tours, travel may also include short domestic flights to reach remote areas more comfortably.


5. Health & Safety

Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical expenses, and other unforeseen events. Some specific tours may require you to show proof of coverage before departure.

Q: Is it safe to travel with you during these times?
A: Yes, Mongolia is generally a very safe destination for travelers, and your safety is always our top priority. We work closely with trusted local partners and follow the latest health and safety guidelines. 6. Cancellation & Refunds

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • If you cancel 92 or more days before departure, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel between 91 and 61 days before departure, a 15% cancellation fee will apply.

  • If you cancel between 60 and 41 days before departure, a 45% cancellation fee will apply.

  • If you cancel between 40 and 11 days before departure, a 80% cancellation fee will apply.

  • If you cancel 10 or fewer days before departure, or do not show up, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Q: Can I reschedule my tour if my plans change?
A: We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your tour, please contact us as early as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, changes are subject to availability and may incur rebooking fees. If rescheduling is not possible, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Q: What should I pack?
A: We provide a suggested packing list in your booking confirmation email. This typically includes comfortable clothing, footwear appropriate for the activities, a valid passport or ID, any necessary travel documents, and personal essentials.

Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Mongolia?
A: Mongolia offers visa-free entry to many travelers from the U.S. and Europe. As of now:

  • U.S. citizens can enter Mongolia visa-free for up to 90 days.
  • Most European Union citizens including those from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Austria, and others can enter visa-free for up to 30 days.
  • United Kingdom and Switzerland citizens also enjoy 30 days of visa-free access.

A: We recommend arriving at least one day before the tour’s start date to account for possible flight delays or other travel disruptions. This also gives you time to rest and adjust to the local time zone before the tour begins.
