Thank you for choosing Nomad Trail Mongolia—we hope your adventure has been unforgettable, and we warmly look forward to welcoming you back.
We traveled as a family and had an outstanding experience. The guide paced the days so our kids never felt rushed, with plenty of photo stops and stretch breaks. The comfortable 4×4 had room for all our bags, and the team handled every logistic—airport pickup, camp check-ins, and dietary needs—so we could just soak it all in. Sunrise on the dunes was magical, the Flaming Cliffs at golden hour were a hit with everyone, and the hot springs made for a relaxing end to a big day.
This was the perfect Mongolia intro. The pacing balanced big landscapes (Yol Valley, Khongoryn Els dunes, Bayanzag) with culture (Erdene Zuu and Karakorum). Ger camps were cozy, food was hearty, and our guide kept long drives fun with great stories. Pack layers—the wind can surprise you even in summer. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.
